Computer gamers’ camps have been organised by SU Tas in different areas of Tasmania for over 10 years. They are designed for high schoolers, who perhaps love their computers a little too much! They are unique camps that cater for a sub-culture that may otherwise be overlooked in most camping programs; camps for gamers run by gamers. Campers have fun experiences predominantly with gaming, as well as time out for other challenges and activities for the mind and body. A part of camp is also set aside to think and talk about important life issues. The next camp details:
DCYPHER South
DCYPHER is a camp for Years 9-12 who love their computer a little too much! The camp usually takes place over the course of five days – full of gaming, activities, talks about life and lots of other good stuff. Please note that you will need your own computer and a stable internet connection.
